Stroud Furniture Makers are a family company dedicated to handcrafting the finest kitchens.
Members of the Guild of Master Craftsmen, we take pride in the high quality of our materials and our attention to detail, developed over a quarter of a century.
Early English Kitchens
Inspired by the traditional cabinetwork of the English country manor, the oversized beaded frame sits directly on the floor and a fluting detail is included on the corner bead. Panelled doors and simple drawer fronts are complemented by handturned handles and exposed traditional hinges.
Classic Country Kitchens
Our most popular design and still going strong after 25 years, the classic cabinetwork has a beaded frame and drawers with a moulded ovolo bead set into the door panels. Proportions are a little finer than our Early English and the cabinetwork has a recessed floor plinth complemented by ogee cornice and simple half round light pelmet with tongued and grooved end panelling.
New Country Kitchens
Stroud Furniture Makers’ homage to the ever popular ‘Shaker’ style!
Unbeaded frames and recessed doors, complemented by simple drawer fronts, create the clean, unfussy lines favoured by so many clients, architects and interior designers while retaining the exemplary quality and traditional craftsmanship on which our reputation is based.
A bold contemporary style available in a range of hardwoods and handpainted colours, its raised plinth and ‘floating’ cabinetwork set the Townhaus apart and create a distinctively urban look. Designer brushed steel handles also add to the flair and elegance of this superb design.
All our kitchen cabinetwork is entirely handmade and specifically designed to suit the precise needs of each client, however, for those wishing to take the process further, using the myriad materials available and our 25 years of expertise we can create wholly individual designs tailored to the most original and discerning requirements.
